Master the Workflow

CORE consists of 15 video lessons designed to teach you the theory and fundamentals of the 3D VFX workflow in the most clear, concise, and captivating way you’ve ever experienced. The curriculum is broken into 3 parts explained below.

Part 1: REAL TO 3D

Part 1 encapsulates how to capture footage of the real world and recreate it in 3D with Blender. This includes matching the camera movement, surface geometry, materials, and lighting using special tools and techniques.

Part 2: ADD THE VFX!

In part 2, we’ll add in our VFX elements! Creating great VFX assets requires many skills from 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and more. We won’t dive into these topics since there’s already so much to learn. Instead, you’ll get high-quality VFX assets ready for you to use, customize, and learn from (more on this in the VAULT section).

Part 3: 3D TO REAL

Finally, in part 3 we’ll seamlessly blend the 3D scene back into the real footage. You’ll learn professional rendering and compositing techniques to make amazing VFX shots that will leave everyone speechless.
